Warrior Solo Smite Guide

This guide will show you how to escape from the chamber and farm Smite Crawlers, in The Underworld. The Underworld is a great place to farm because although the risk of failure can (sometimes) be high; its exciting, scenic and yields great profits.

The Build:
Vengeful was Khanhei [e]
This is the axis of this build; it does nearly all the damage, and all the healing. It’s handy because It can be used ½ of the time you spend farming, and with its fairly fast casting time and low energy cost it makes it perfect for the environment.

Vengeful Weapon
This is also a fairly crucial skill to this build because it makes the damage output slightly higher, and this skill is used when Vengeful was Khanhei is recharging. It’s fast casting time and quick recharge make it great for softening the damage you gain.

Resilient weapon
This skill is for exploring additional areas such as the chaos planes.
This skill isn’t usually used unless facing Coldfires, Banished Dream Riders or Obsidian Behemoths.

Watch yourself!
This skill is used when tackling larger groups of Smites or kiting from Coldfires, its even better than before with one of the new updates.

Dolyak Signet
This is the main damage reduction skill; it means that most foes (that this build is compatible with) will not do much damage over 10 with a normal attack. This skill is also great because it costs no energy, but make sure you use it wisely or else the speed snare could get you into trouble.

Healing Signet
Never use this skill when fighting, with the exception of fighting Grasping Darkness’s, as it will only make you loose health. This skill is mainly used to heal after running past Aatxes or can be sometimes used against Coldfires.

Bonetti’s Defence
This skill is used for energy gain, and for damage reduction. Remember, it will be cancelled if you use any skills. Normally when farming it’s better to save adrenaline for this as apposed to Watch Yourself! Because it means that Vengeful Weapon can be spammed more.

Sprint
This is a crucial skill as it is the speed buff used to get past the Aatxes.

Alternative skills:

Rush
I sometimes use this skill when getting out of the chamber, because if you aggro an Aatxe with Sprint recharging things can get tricky. So after killing the Grasping Darkness’s use rush first, and you can have sprint as a backup.

Enraging Charge
Again this can be a secondary speed buff.

Armour and Weapons:
One of the great aspects of this build is it doesn’t require certain energy levels, weapons or armour. Although make sure you have at least: a rune of superior absorption, and a rune of minor vigor.
For weapons you would be best of with a -2/45 stance shield and a + 5 energy, +5 armour axe or sword, but as stated above: It doesn’t really matter.

Attributes:
Restoration Magic: 12
Tactics: 12 (11+1)
Strength: 7 (6+1)

The helm dosn't really matter, +1 strength or tactics would be best.

Strategy:
Ok to start of we need to get out of that dingy chamber, so we use the running trick. ‘What’s the running trick?’ You may ask, well it’s basically using speed buffs to evade the Aatxes. Aatxes will not follow someone under a speed buff; they will start to follow you, but after a couple of seconds they will return to their original location. This is great because this build cannot handle Aatxes.

So as you enter the underworld, notice that cliff behind you? We shall refer to this cliff as the ‘back wall’. Now carefully approach, and take the quest from the ‘Lost Soul’ who should be in front of you.

If you accidentally aggro anything hit Sprint and run strait to ‘the back wall’, this should break any aggro. If you happen to attract a Dying Nightmare then use Vengeful Weapon twice, that should kill it.
Once the quest was taken, you should have noticed some monsters pop up on your mini-map, pressing Ctrl will reveal that they are Grasping Darkness’s, so we need to lure and kill them to escape from the chamber.
So aggro the closest group, usually of 3 or 4, Grasping’s. This will also normally aggro the Bladed Aatxes, so we hit sprint, and run strait to the back wall. Only the Grasping should follow.

Once lured, hit Dolyak, attack them with your sword (or axe) until Bonetti’s is charged, once charged hit Bonetti’s, then use Vengeful was Khanhei. Rinse and repeat till they are dead. The main problem with Grasping's are their interrupts and energy drain, both of which can be tackled with Bonetti’s.

Once you have killed the 3 Groups of Grasping, required for the quest, you can escape the chamber. If seeing is believing, well then lets just see: this video should explain the rest of the run.

Solo Farming- Chamber to the Smites

Earnings:
A usual Smite run takes about 30 mins and results in 1+ Globs of Ectoplasm, and about 2k in drops, so I’d say this makes about 2 Ecto’s (16k)+ 4k Drops – 2k Entry = Around 18k/hour.
